How to use

  1. 1Upload a receipt photo (JPG/PNG/WEBP) or PDF — max 10MB. Drag and drop is supported.
  2. 2Enter your company's registered name (as it appears in DBD). Optionally enter your Tax ID for additional verification.
  3. 3Click Read Receipt with AI. OCR takes approximately 15–30 seconds.
  4. 4Review Section B: buyer name match result. If matched, use the receipt normally. If mismatched, use the FIN-019 template to create a certification letter.
  5. 5Use Section C's journal entry as a reference for your bookkeeping.

Why does buyer name mismatch matter?

When a receipt is issued in a name other than your company, two tax risks arise:

  1. Disallowed expense: RD may reject the deduction as it cannot be proven the expense was for the company.
  2. Input VAT disallowed: Per Revenue Code §82/5, Input VAT cannot be claimed if the receipt is not addressed to your company.

The solution is a Certification Letter (FIN-019) — an internal document where an authorized person certifies the expense genuinely occurred for company purposes, signed and filed alongside the receipt.
