How to use

  1. 1Enter the asset name (optional), cost, and salvage value. Thai accounting convention: salvage value ≥ THB 1. Default is 1.
  2. 2Select asset type — this auto-fills the tax useful life from Royal Decrees (e.g., computers 3 years per R.D.145, cars capped at THB 1M per R.D.315).
  3. 3Adjust accounting and tax useful lives if different from defaults. Choose Straight-Line or Declining Balance method.
  4. 4Review Section C for accounting vs tax comparison and temporary differences — relevant for deferred tax disclosures under TFRS for NPAEs Chapter 22.

Disclaimer: Asset useful lives shown are for guidance only. Accounting useful life should reflect the entity's actual usage pattern. Tax useful lives are based on current Royal Decrees and may be updated. For complex assets or accelerated depreciation claims, consult a CPA.
